With the releases of Bad Teacher and Friends With Benefits, Justin Timberlake is poised for a huge summer. The hilarious 30-year-old singer/actor recently sat down with Playboy to discuss everything from his new movies, love interests and Justin Bieber. Justin famously dated his Bad Teacher co-star, Cameron Diaz, for four years and the hunky star opened up about what it's like to work with your ex:

It sounds complicated to everybody else, but it wasn't to us… I knew at some point we'd have to promote the film and people would say, 'Oh my God, that's so weird that you two dated for four years.' I don't know what else to say except the truth, which is that we're friends. We don't talk to each other all the time, but we respect each other, and on some level we'll always love each other – but in our new capacity as friends.

Diaz certainly wasn't Justin's last celebrity girlfriend: Justin just came off a long relationship with Jessica Biel and he has recently been linked to a bevy of celebrity beauties including Olivia Wilde and Mila Kunis. Justin goes on to say that he can't let the rumors on his relationship status effect him:

None of it's true, so I shouldn't even dignify it with an answer. The thing is, I'm not going to sacrifice my friendships with people who are my co-stars I meet in the business. I'm not going to avoid spending time with people because someone who doesn't know me makes assumptions about what's going on.

It seems as though these days, Justin has his heart set out on making people laugh rather than making music but that didn't stop him from reflecting on two of pop's biggest heavyweights – Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber. Justin admires Gaga and calls her "legitimately talented" and even dishes out some advice to young Bieber: "You need to have a plan…Otherwise, before you know it, there's going to be some kid who's younger than you."

Justin definitely has had a great career, but there are still some moments he wishes he could erase – like his infamous corn rows or the matching denim outfits that he and then-girlfriend, Britney Spears, wore to the American Music Awards adding that he'd "probably pay good money to get some of those pictures off the internet."

Bad Teacher comes out June 24, while rom-com, Friends With Benefits, is out July 22nd.
