Was Justin Bieber-Selena Gomez Wedding Crashing Just a Publicity Stunt? - Gather Celebs News Channel

<div readability="87.4151681001"> <p>Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez recently made headlines when they crashed a wedding. During a stroll on the beach, they heard someone playing JB's hit, <em>One Less Lonely Girl,</em> and they popped in. Low and behold, one of the wedding guests was the Biebs' number one fan, Paige Conway, whom he'd met on the <em>Ellen DeGeneres Show</em> in February. <em>Quel</em> coincidence. Or was it?</p><p><img src="http://ts1.mm.bing.net/images/thumbnail.aspx?q=1022159821592&amp;id=d4b0d07b6d206c3169111dda598276df&amp;url=http%3a%2f%2f1.bp.blogspot.com%2f-FKbPkdGmvKE%2fTd_cSD6Mv9I%2fAAAAAAAADhk%2f1FknD-isR10%2fs1600%2fselena-gomez-justin-bieber-pda-pair-01.jpg" class="sg_t"/>Rumor now has it that the Jelena wedding crashing incident was staged for publicity. Paige Conway is the bride's cousin. Sources report that upon entering the wedding, Justin Bieber "walked right up to Paige and tapped her on the shoulder as she was singing his song and she was absolutely shocked!" But was her shock real? Or is the 15-year-old Paige, like everyone else in Hollywood, an aspiring actress?</p><p>Some eyewitness found the experience a little too unreal.</p><p>"I couldn't believe how surreal it was that Justin Bieber crashed the wedding party while the DJ was playing one of his songs," marvelled one. "It was just crazy."</p><p>Others just seemed so glad to have been there to meet Justin and Selena, that they simply accepted the situation as a bizarre and fortuitous coincidence. Including the groom himself, Rob McCool, who is convinced that the incident "was not planned."</p><p>"It kind of became a frenzy when everyone from the wedding party discovered he was there and they all wanted a picture with him," Rob recalls. "Justin was super cool and really down-to-earth. ...he was a good sport and it was so much fun to have him show up at our wedding. What a wonderful memory to have, especially for my wife, Jeanine and her little cousin Paige."</p><p>All the guests reported that Selena Gomez "stood quietly on the sidelines while her boyfriend signed autographs, danced, and took pictures..." Oddly enough the famous teen couple did not stay to sample the wedding cake.</p><p>It is highly doubtful that the crashed wedding was a staged event. Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez can garner publicity just by showing up and making out in any crowded public place. They hardly need to crash a belieber's cousin's wedding.</p><p>Still, the incident will no doubt make Jelena fans and foes alike wonder if the famous teen couple are contemplating tying the knot themselves. Especially with Selena Gomez's birthday right around the corner.
