♫ MUSIC SHARE ♫ - Rihanna is a Barbadian R&B recording artist. Rihanna who has a full name Robyn Rihanna Fenty was born on February 20, 1988, in Saint Michael, Barbados. She moved to the United States at the age of 16 to pursue a recording career under the guidance of record producer Evan Rogers. She subsequently also signed a contract with Def Jam Recordings after auditioning for then-label head Jay-Z.

Rihanna who was born and raised in Barbados may never have dreamed can go to America. That was begins when a friend introduced Rihanna on a producer from New York who named Evan Rodgers. Then Rihanna luck soon changed. Initially Rihanna just learning singing self-taught. She was ever publicly known of Barbados when rendition of Mariah Carey's Hero in a ceremony at her school. Rihanna then introduced by Evan Rodgers on Jay-Z who served as CEO of Def Jam Records. After Jay-Z heard the Rihanna's vocal, Jay-Z believes that Rihanna who still 16 year old at the time could be the star.

Rihanna released her debut studio album, Music of the Sun, in 2005 which peaked in the top ten Billboard 200 chart and features the Billboard Hot 100 hit single Pon de Replay.

Less than a year later, in 2006, Rihanna released her second studio album, A Girl Like Me, which peaked within the top five Billboard albums chart. The Rihanna's third studio album, Good Girl Gone Bad that released in 2007, created four chart-topping singles Umbrella, Take a Bow, Disturbia and Don't Stop the Music, and was nominated for nine Grammy Awards, winning Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for Umbrella, that featuring Jay-Z.
