A hot Google search on Wednesday (July 21) afternoon is "Justin Bieber Converts To Scientology."
To put it mildly, we are suspicious. Sure, Justin hung out for a while with rumored Scientologist Will Smith's son Jaden Smith during the making of the "Karate Kid" music video. But that's not proof of his being recruited.
We have not heard from our underground sources about Justin visiting the Celebrity Center at the main Scientology Church in Los Angeles. And we have not observed him in contact with any of the leading celeb Scientologists such as Tom Cruise, Jenna Elfman, Kelly Preston and John Travolta. He hasn't even texted Kristie Alley!.
Frankly we just don't believe that Justin needs the protection of this powerful international cult. Although we read that Katie Holmes has reportedly talked to her ex Chris Klein -- who is battling serious booze demons -- about jumping onboard the Zenu spaceship.
But Justin doesn't need space aliens and thetons or mind control or getting clear by giving away his millions of hard-danced dollars..
We are hereby calling this Justin Bieber Web Rumor #427. So no matter what you read on CNN or Fox News, take if from The Dish Rag: Justin Bieber has NOT joined forces with the Church of Scientology.
They only wish. What a coup that would be, eh?
