Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez hobnobbed at Hooters over sodas and wings, but it was enough to stir up a concerned mom. Who says Gomez should never say never to a man who gloats over a woman's body instead of her brains?

The teen couple is stirring up a lot of buzz when they show up at local popular joints like ice cream parlors, malls, theme parks, and restaurants.

There's nothing wrong with that, right? C'mom; they are one of the most photographed celebrity couples on the planet.

Undoubtedly, their legions of fans enjoy the Jelena sightings outside of the usual packed arenas and stadiums.

But Jeanne Sager of The Stir says that the public date of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez is lacking in class, and probably is a sign that Bieb does not respect his gal. She thinks it's a mom's nightmare.

"I know, I know, they've got great wings. But it's a place that's all about objectifying women," the fired up mom said.

She said Justin Bieber's decision to ask Selena Gomez out to Hooters (not once, but twice) is as low as it gets in the "respect" department.

Even more upsetting to The Stir mom is the Dream Out Loud pop star being okay with hanging out at such a place that stirs a man's mind as scantily clad servers sashay around the dining room.

"Girls who are subjected to men objectifying them specifically because of their gender have been shown to suffer detrimental effects," Sager said.

But is this mother stirring up dust about a harmless date when Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are just teens, in love and having fun? It's just a night out for wings and non-alcoholic beverages (fingers crossed).

But to the mom's point, Selena Gomez is a role model for young girls who dress, act, sing, and talk like her.

Whether she wants or not, her fans mimic her behavior and trust her. Even if she leaves music behind and pursues a larger part in movies, all eyes will be on her.

Justin Bieber is also a role model. But try telling guys his age not to gather up in droves salivating over women with Daisy Duke shorts on. It's a rite of passage for them.

What do you think about Selena Gomez's decision in tagging along with Justin Bieber to Hooters? Many non-famous couples do it, and there's no harm, no foul. Heck, even married couples go to strip clubs. Do they need therapy?

Photo: Facebook

Please provide details below to help Gather review this content.
