Justin Bieber may have a busy schedule, balancing his singing career and studio time with special awards show appearances and promotions, not to mention his relationship with girlfriend Selena Gomez (and the occasional date at Hooters!). But he still takes plenty of time to champion good causes. In that spirit, he has just kicked off his Hearts Across the Web campaign to benefit Pencils of Promise, one of Bieber's choice charities.

And he's calling on his millions upon millions of Beliebers everywhere to help him out! In fact, the key to the Hearts Across the Web campaign depends completely on the 17-year-old pop sensation's fans. According to Just So You Know, the initiative encourages them to upload photos of themselves to the website, JustinBieberSomeday.com, making those ubiquitous heart symbols with their hands (something Selena Gomez has been spotted doing in plenty of concert performances!).

Justin Bieber further urged his followers to participate in a YouTube video, saying, "To raise awareness and support Pencils of Promise, let's create the biggest digital chain around the world." Indeed, a visit to the Justin Bieber Someday website is quite inspiring and much cooler than one might initially think. A significant "digital chain" has already started with those charming hand hearts, and it really is a creative way to engage fans to band together for a good cause (while promoting Justin Bieber and his Someday fragrance at the same time!).

JSYK highlights that all Justin Bieber needs is for 500,000 individuals to post a pic and Someday will donate enough dollars to build 50 schools for needy kids. Now that really is scent-sational.

Bieber also got behind Pencils of Promise during another recent event -- Fashion's Night Out on Sept. 8. He hosted a bash at New York City's Dolce & Gabbana boutique with his manager Scooter Braun to raise money for the charity. Looks like work, play and helping out a good cause really all do go hand-in-hand for Bieber.

Please provide details below to help Gather review this content.
